Important Notice

Special hybrid format (Physical & Virtual) is adopted, but no live-streams will be provided.

  • All speakers must select either physical or virtual talk by May 10, 2022.
  • Regardless of either physical or virtual attendance, all registered speakers (including plenary/semi-plenary speakers) must submit their videos within the period from June 1 to July 6, 2022.
  • Only physical talks are scheduled at the venue.
  • Pre-recorded on-demand videos by virtual registered speakers will not be presented at the venue.
  • All presentations (both physical and virtual talks) are available on the VOD system.
  • Registered virtual participants cannot attend any physical talk (including those in opening/closing sessions) but will be able to watch all the pre-recorded on-demand videos and make comments/receive answers.
  • Pre-recorded on-demand videos of plenary and semi-plenary talks will be presented at the venue as scheduled if the speakers cannot come.
  • By way of exception, some special evets such as opening and closing ceremonies will be recorded and presented on the VOD system.
  • Pre-recorded on-demand videos provided by registered speakers are available before and after some days of the congress period.
  • Each speaker should make sure that there is no difference between the recorded version and the face-to-face version of his/her presentation.

The decision to hold the congress with this format or go with a fully virtual version will be made at the end of February 2022, based on the guideline.

Registration

  • Only one presentation per registered speaker is allowed without exception.
  • On-site registration is not allowed.
  • Request to change the registration type from physical to virtual by May 10, 2022, is acceptable. Also, request to change the registration type from virtual to physical by July 20, 2022, is acceptable. See Registration page for details.

Program Booklets for physical or virtual speakers are separately provided

  • Program Booklet for physical speakers contains all the information for registered physical participants, including time schedule for physical events and talks, but do not contain the information for registered virtual participants.
  • Program Booklet for physical speakers will be printed and put in the congress bag for registered physical participants.
  • Program Booklet for virtual speakers contains all the information for registered virtual and physical participants, including the list of all the presentations and speakers in the congress.
  • Program Booklet for virtual speakers will not be printed but its PDF version will be available for both registered physical and registered virtual participants.

Book of Abstracts and Book of Extended Abstracts are published online

  • Book of Abstracts are published, but only its PDF version will be available for both registered physical and registered virtual participants.
  • Book of Extended Abstracts will be published online after the congress, but only its PDF version will be available for both registered physical and registered virtual participants.

For ensuring a secure Food & Drinks environment to all attendees according to local rules:

  • Lunch will be served by sponsors for free and available in several conference rooms. But, the number of lunches is limited, so it will be ticketed at the congress website. The information will be posted when the time is right.
  • Banquet is planed on August 4, 2022 (Thu), but optional. Also, the number of seats is limited as it is hard to get a safe and spacious room for it under the Covid-19 pandemic environment. A ticket for the banquet will be sold at the congress website. The information will be posted when the time is right.
  • Coffee-breaks will be held between breaks of sessions. However, normal service may be altered under the Covid-19 pandemic environment.
  • Ice breaking party is not planed on the first day of the congress (July 31, 2022).
