Submission

Abstract submission is CLOSED.

Below are the guidelines/instructions on abstract submission. Please read them carefully before beginning your submission. One-page abstract should be submitted by November 15, 2021 January 9, 2022 (23:59, JST). Information on Full Papers (previously called Extended Abstracts) are provided after the guidelines.

Your abstract should be submitted in one of the congress minisymposia. For a description of each minisymposium, go here.

  • All speakers must provide on-demand videos prior to the congress.
  • All speakers must make a registration by May 27, 2022.
  • One general presentation = 20 min.
  • Each paid registrant at WCCM-APCOM 2022 will be limited to one presentation.
  • Each participant may be an author of multiple abstracts but can be a presenting author of only one abstract.
  • Abstracts are to be submitted in PDF format using the templates;

    (The obsolete command "vskip 0.5 em" has been replaced by a blank line. No other parts have been changed.)
  • Your abstract must contain a summary of your presentation and describe the principal contributions to the field.
  • No figures or equations are allowed.
  • When entering the title, use the 'Title' case (capitalize only the first letter of each significant word). Do not enter the title in all caps or capitalize the letter of the first word only.
  • Be sure to enter all the authors. The number of authors for an abstract is limited to 20.
  • Limit the affiliation for each author to name of institution, company, or university only. Do not provide department name.
  • Please make sure to choose a correct minisymposium title by checking the 4-digit number shown here before you start your abstract submission.
  • Abstracts cannot be edited/deleted once the submission is completed. In case you need to revise your already submitted abstract before the abstract due date, please contact the Abstract Submission Support by email (wccm2022-abs@convention.co.jp) and your abstract status will be changed to editable.

Full Papers (previously called Extended Abstracts) *Optional

The submission of full papers (previously called extended abstracts) will open from April 28, 2022 (JST).
Conference Proceedings (including full papers only) will be published on Scipedia with DOI number after the congress and will be submitted for indexation to SCOPUS database. An ISBN is also granted.
The deadline for submission of full papers (not mandatory) is May 31, 2022 (JST).

  1. Prepare your full paper in PDF format using the following templates;

  2. Log-in to the Submission Portal below and go to "View / Edit Abstract" tab.

  3. Click "Edit" button next to "Full Paper Upload", browse and upload your full paper.
  4. To make sure that your full paper is successfully uploaded, kindly click "Edit " button again and check if you can see your uploaded file in the pop-up window.
    *Please note that a confirmation email will NOT be sent by uploading a full paper.
