The idea of organising this Mini-Symposium is to bring together scientists dealing with composites and composite structures for various thermo-mechanical problems:

· modelling of laminates, fibre-reinforced composites and microstructured beams, plates, shells,
· dynamic problems of microstructured media,
· stability problems of microstructured media,
· modelling of heat conduction,
· coupled problems in composite mechanics,
· advantages and disadvantages of averaging modelling.
