The development of efficient and stable computational methods has always been an eternal research topic in the community of computational mechanics. Due to the use of semi-analytical basis functions, semi-analytical numerical methods [1-4] are better than the other traditional numerical methods on the computational accuracy and efficiency for scientific and engineering simulations. This makes semi-analytical numerical methods being considered as one of the numerical methods with great potential for modern scientific and engineering simulation.
This mini-symposium will encompass a broad range of topics on semi-analytical numerical methods. Contributions dealing with not only theory development but also practical applications are encouraged. The following list covers some of the topics to be presented at this mini-symposium. Papers on other subjects related to the themes of this symposium are also welcome.
+Numerical methods based on analytic functions and their applications in mechanics and engineering;
+Numerical methods based on Green's functions and their applications in mechanics and engineering;
+Numerical methods based on Trefftz functions and their applications in mechanics and engineering;
